Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself.
1. I've been to Paris, London and Tokyo, but I've never seen NYC.
2. I am very allergic to poison ivy.
3. I have never played a Pokemon game.
What kind of camera(s) do you own?
It's a Canon A610. I bought it October 2005 in anticipation of my time abroad in Japan. It's a good camera, and has served me well, but I can't help thinking of a new one, with more options and features.... (S5 IS, July 15th....)
When do you file your taxes? Do you do it yourself or get outside help?
My parents still file my taxes for me (^__^) Once I get married, though, we'll have someone do it for us - it's too complicated! (This is not a "number make my brain melt" kind of statement, this is a "damn tax laws are confusing!")
What were you doing one year ago today?

Preparing to head off to Japan! Ahh... so nostalgic...
What's the best thing since sliced bread?
The internet. Hands down.
How do you pass the time during a flight? What do you bring in your carry-on?
Far too much stuff (^^;) Well, it depends on the length of the flight.
1-2 hours: Depending on how tired I am, I might sleep, or listen to music. Sometimes I read, but not often.
3-6 hours: I try to sleep for a chunk of it, and the rest is music, books and portable video games (DS or PSP)
7-9 hours: I try to sleep even more, but usually don't succeed. Depending on the in-flight movie I'll watch or not, watch things I have on my laptop, music, books and portable video games (DS or PSP)
10-14 hours: I do my best to sleep but it never works out for long. Same as 7-9 except I'll end up walking around a bit more due to the length.
Carry-on Items:
& laptop (always)
& iPod (music!)
& purse stuff (wallet, keys, cell phone, id, passport, tickets, lip balm, pens, notebook)
& Nintendo DS with a few games
& Sony PSP (which I really need more games for)
& all the ac adapters for said electronics since if they lose my luggage I want to have them
& various cables for electronics (usb cables for iPod, digicam, and PSP just to name a few)
& a book of some sort
& a magazine
& water (the longer the flight, the more I need it - the water they give you mid-flight (on 10+ hour flights anyway) does not taste as good as bottled. it worries me (o_O))
& neck pillow (for sleeping!)
I think that's it, for typical stuff anyway. I like to be prepared (^^;)
What is your favorite ring tone?
Submitted by rach.
I leave my phone on vibrate more often than not (since even that startles me more than it should) so I don't have a favorite for my phone, but when I was in Japan, Becca had "Slap That Naughty Body" by Tsuchiya Anna as her ringtone and it cracked me up every time XD It's a rather engrishy song, but it has a good beat. Some sample lyrics:
"Rock the body body
Move your ass over
Slap the naughty body
Why don't you look at me?
Why don't you notice my feeling?
Why don't you look at me?"
What's the most obsessive-compulsive thing you do in a normal day?
Submitted by Nikki.
I have to check my email as soon as I get up. If I don't, my whole day gets thrown off. I also usually check my webcomics, and some other random things but email is essential. Ahh internet, you are addictive.
Do you have any phobias?

Bugs, mostly. Not really spiders, more like ants, hornets, wasps, flies, that kind of stuff. Mostly flying insects. Bleh.
Would you rather go back in time or visit the future?
Submitted by Auds.
Hmm... probably into the future, mostly for stuff like video games and things I'm expecting in the mail XD If I went into the past, I'd be too tempted to mess with things I'd already done and that would be dangerous...
